What did I learn?
Niche-Specific UX Matters – General resale platforms aren’t optimized for baby clothes. Parents need a simpler, faster way to list and buy items, so a streamlined flow is essential.
Categorization & Search Need to Be Intuitive – Baby clothing sizes change rapidly, so smart filtering (age, size, season) makes finding items effortless.
Sustainability is a Major Selling Point – Many parents want an eco-friendly way to reuse clothes, making it a strong marketing angle for the app.
What was the problem?
Parents often struggle with managing outgrown baby clothes. They accumulate quickly, leading to clutter, and traditional resale platforms (like Facebook Marketplace or Vinted) aren’t optimized for baby clothing, making the selling process time-consuming and inefficient.
What was the goal?
To create an easy-to-use platform where parents can quickly list, buy, and sell outgrown baby clothes with a streamlined experience tailored specifically for baby items. The app should make the process fast, hassle-free, and organized, helping parents save money while promoting sustainability.
